Indus Village is something of an anomaly. The food is exceptional. I'm fairly well-travelled and have been around places of this type for sometime but this place is truly a diamond. It is inexpensive (really, you could easily double your prices) the menu is regional and the food is true to form...

One of the best Indian restaurants around. (Though I think they may technically be Pakistani, and there is beef on the menu. ) They also have a nice selection of vegetarian, chicken, and goat dishes. We go there frequently, and I would highly recommend the naan. Cooked fresh for each order.

Super delicious, and family owned. (For the person complaining about a lack of beer and soda...really? I didn’t go there for crumby drinks I can buy at a grocery store. I went there for Indian food and it is amazing.)

Ive been a loyal customer here for almost 20 years. I support Indus because of the necessity for quality halal meat and a great restuarant. Last Thursday I placed an order over the phone. When I arrived to pick it up I was shocked to find a lady employee belittling a new employee even after he apologized for a mistake. She was loud and unprofessional and I was embarrassed for the new hire. She went on a rant for alleast 10 minutes while all the customers were looking at her in amazement. To make matters worst she stated that her rant was about $1.50 mistake where a customer was overcharged. I was in shock regarding the claims she made and her verbal assault was due to such a small discrepancy. Character counts. Indus you have never failed me but you need to address the leadership opportunities on the restaurant side of the business.
